Quick site disclaimer:

This post is for informational and entertainment purposes only and is not investment advice.

Okay, let’s get started and see where you fit into the Pi Network ecosystem. Indeed, there is great anticipation and eagerness for Pi Network to transition into the open mainnet. However, what is your specific role or position? In my perspective, it is not only your prerogative to initiate or persist in mining, but rather a crucial question to consider: When the open mainnet is officially introduced, what is my place or role in this situation?

There are various classifications of individuals and diverse types of individuals that can be found on the open mainnet. Currently, we have Pioneers who are mining Pi merely to sell off when the mainnet opens.

These are the ones who intend to upload and market everything they have for sale. We also have individuals who are urgently seeking purchasers to buy their Pi. Unfortunately, these individuals often fall into the clutches of scammers.

My suggestion is, again, please do not sell your Pi coins now. You have the option to wait until the mainnet is officially released. There are many individuals out there claiming they can buy or want to buy your Pi. While some of them are accurate and authentic, most of them are not..

The majority are fraudulent individuals who just want to take the Pi away from you so that they can have more value when the open mainnet comes.

Now, the question is, if you sell your Pi right now, would you be able to afford the Pi when it eventually gets into the open mainnet? Let’s conduct a small rough estimate. Currently, Pi is worth zero.

We all know that Pi is totally worth nothing, but when you look at the price at the IOU market where it is being traded, you will find that it is actually ranging between $23 to $56. Would you rather let your Pi go now, thinking it’s worth nothing, or wait until that value becomes a reality?

Another kind of folks we have are those who are actually mining Pi and waiting for the value to come when the open mainnet is launched. Then there are those who simply got into the program and are mining the coin, but they are doing nothing with it. This set of people do not trust the network, the process, and are not interested in seeing it through.

Then there’s another set of folks who continuously inform others and post on social media that Pi Network is a fraud. Remember, a lot was said when Bitcoin was coming up. Many individuals indicated it was a fraud and said not to trust the network or the process. A lot of people didn’t even believe in cryptocurrency as a whole. But today, cryptocurrency has taken over and is here to stay. Today, Bitcoin is highly valued.

So let me ask you a question:

If Pi Network is a hoax, why are there scammers out there trying to grab your coin from you and not offer you value for it? Why are there people who believe this idea will not work, yet they are mining? Another question I would like to raise is: Why did certain respectable exchanges list Pi for IOU trading? I don’t believe the owner of Huobi, who is also the owner of USDT and TRX cryptocurrencies, would genuinely put his name on the line. I don’t believe he would list a false coin or be part of a fake project.

I know many of you are doubtful about it, but here is what I’m saying: Number one, you are not paying anything to mine. Number two, it costs you nothing. No exchange of money has been done since you began mining. Number three, it does not take any significant amount of power from your mobile phone. Number four, there are many other places where you have submitted your information without ever getting any results from them. And the other humorous thing is this: It takes you literally less than five seconds to tap the button and keep mining.
